Comments
Comments: hopper trail was relatively dry as were the roads. very well maintained footbed on hopper. dynamite trail in good shape as well. a bit wetter at elevation. only minor mud. same on the appalachian trail. money brook trail was generally damp, but never particularly wet or muddy. nice day on greylock. skies never cleared off so no views from the summit, but some great walking. my first time hiking in the area. interesting bear encounter on the descent of the money brook trail. thanks to jeremy for a great hike and tour of western massachusetts.
