Comments: Mass. Central Rail Trail (Miles Rd. to Whitehall Road)
A short afternoon trek along the CMRT in Rutland. From Miles Rd. to just beyond the Charnock Hill Rd. underpass (about the halfway point of this journey), there was a packed down snowshoe track. Beyond that, the trail was pristine, unbroken powder. :D I broke out the trail down to Whitehall Rd. and back to this point through about a foot of fresh stuff. Light and fluffy, perfect conditions!
