Parking was fine today, down at the undermountain lot in CT for Bear there was some mid-day overflow along Route 41. |

Easily crossed on rocks below the upper falls. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good condition. To avoid the climbinhg on the AT back to the re-route of the Race Brook falls, we followed the old section from it's junction of with the AT back to the where it goes by the tent platforms. Still one piece of ice left hanging on in that old section. The boys lived seeing one last gasp of winter on an otherwise almost summer like hike. (well no leaves yet but the bugs are beginning to come out) |

All pet owners we came across had their pets on a leach or otherwise well behaved. |

Great views of the Catskills and Greylock, did not see any snow on Hunter this time like we did in 2013 just one week earlier in the year. Did see a few people but on a great day surprised we did not see more. |
