| Comments: |
An after work loop over Brown Hill (1312'), part of MassAudubon's Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary. I was also doing some recon for a possible connecting trail over to Little Wachusett Mountain. I didn't find any obvious traces, but will keep looking. No big views on this hike, but interesting woods and Otter Pond is scenic. I startled a deer near the pond. Nice easy grades and good footing the whole way make this a nice alternative to its more crowded neighbor. |
