Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The beaver pond right at the start is flooding the trail, but can be crossed with care.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One large blowdown on the SLT that will require a saw. There is new signage at the lower junction of WT / SLT ("Watatic Summit"). Also, the top of the access road coming up the backside is now signed. Not sure if that means this is being sanctioned as an official trail or not (it's a nice quiet approach away from the crowds).

Comments
Comments: A few inches of new snow from yesterday's storm, but we need more. Rocks are still poking through and the trails are bony. The route was broken out by one other snowshoer up to the summit of Watatic, but the rest of the loop was unbroken, with 3-5 inches of new powder. Wore snowshoes round-trip. Skies stays mostly cloudy but there were some peeks of sun.
