Comments
Comments: This was section hike of the BCT through Boxford SF which is in North Andover, Middleton and Boxford. Started from the North Andover entrance, followed the road post the steel fare. Had a time finding the first turn off of the access road at #1, walked around pond, pleasurable diversion. Realized that the numbers are mounted on PVC paddles about 4' high and 6" wide and they are brown so they blend in. #1 & #2 were really hidden on your left as turn onto the trail. So the first real trail junction is #1. Went out and back on the way back went left at 8A to climb Bald Peak for lunch spot. We had a great time close to home and were able to put in 8+ miles and make back in plenty of time for the Super Bowl.
