| Comments: |
Barebooting is possible, but light traction is a better idea. I put snowshoes on briefly at the end of the Stagecoach Trail near the Stagecoach Road and the windmills; this part was looser and postholed. Soon enough the trail became packed like all the other ones, so the snowshoes weren't really worth the bother. The upper Harrington Trail has a lot of ice, but it was softening by early afternoon and people were creating alternate routes around the ice. The Mountain House Trail is much snowier, with a bit of slush. |
