Bugs
Bugs: They're going to be here until late fall, may as well learn to love 'em! Or at least deal with them;) Cool breeze kept most of them away except for the last mile and a half, but really not that bad.

Comments
Comments: Took Airline straight up to Adams. New life is bursting out every where, keep your eyes open! Lots of tiny flowers in bloom, fiddleheads are unrolling, birds are flitting about, mosses are super rich and displaying intensely vibrant shades of green. Amazing cloud formations on the way up Adams. Summit was socked in by the clouds but it all cleared out as we headed over to Madison. Got to throw a couple snow balls on Star Lake Trail! When we reached Star Lake it was absolutely sparkling in the noon time sun and the view went on forever. Summit of Madison was busy but not overcrowded. Met some really nice people. Took Watson Trail to Valley Way for the trek back. Couldn't have asked for a better day. First hike without any traction since last November. Wish we had had time to spend the night:)
