Comments
Comments: About 3" of fresh, loose powder for most of the way on the Cheshire Harbor Trail, with more or less in spots. Drifts were no deeper than 6". Firm base underneath. I wore Microspikes, though snowshoes (or even bare boots) would have been fine. The last 0.75 miles on the Appalachian Trail were a bit more packed down.
