The Gould Trail had minimal snow on the lower elevations with more plus some ice nearing the top, we bare booted it.
The AT from the road to summit had lots of thick ice, should have used traction but was able to get around without. Came down the upper road back to the Gould Trail, no traction needed. Great views and ice formations made it a really good alternate hike back to the Gould Trail. |
