Comments
Comments: We drove a 4wd SUV 9.6 miles up Burnt Mtn Road to the junction with East Branch Road, and then about .3 miles up East Branch, past active logging to plowed end. Hiked about 4+ miles to summit through open woods and a couple fir bands, 'whacking directly to the summit before road end. Descended and drove back to Burnt Mtn/East Branch junction and parked at the turnout. Loaded sleds there for walk-in to campsite. (See next day's report for Boundary Peak.) Thanks Pat for a fun hike.
