Comments
Comments: Terrific trip for back country backpacking. Trail was well-broken and signed to Piazza Rock campsite. Trail was unbroken from there to Eddy Pond and beyond. Although well-signed, it was challenging to find route at times. 3-4' powdery snow made going slow, and snowshoes mandatory. Had lunch on the rocks at Eddy Pond, very nice conditions, but did not have enough time/energy to summit Saddleback.
