Parking/Access Road Notes: only 1 other vehicle at trailhead, room for a few more and also nearby on Success Pond Rd. if needed

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: first big one on Carlo Col tricky but doable with a long last step; all others also a little more difficult than normal as water level high from last night's rain 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: these trails have improved over the past few years due to trail adopters' efforts...a blowdown on Carlo Col, 1 on Mahoosuc and 3 on Goose Eye but nothing major 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: would be tough getting a dog up the iron rungs ladder and some ledges maybe difficult

Comments: thanks to Rod for coming along today so we could check out another area close to home...breezy and chilly, we had to layer up and put on winter caps...views a ok except the Presis were again in the clouds..other than that we could see as far as possible!
