Comments
Comments: Warden's trail was very well packed out. Snowshoes were the best choice on Avery peak as there is a lot of deep snow up there. Some spots are icy and require care with shoes (same on west peak). On the ridge, there were occasional tracks but many were drifted in. However it was very easy to walk on top of the very deep snow due to a very solid crust. Horns pond trail had one set of tracks, but again easy walking for now. Conditions are very favorable for these three peaks right now. Very low wind chill and cold was the hardest thing about this hike.
