Bald Mountain (Weld, Maine)
Great hike! started with snow shoes up then near the top had to take them off. At this point you can do with out the shoes and just use smaller cramp ons or even yak traks. Big group was already at the top enjoying the view of Tumbledown, Little/Big Jackson and Mt Blue. My buddy was the only one with poles and most everyone was jealous that he had them. Very helpful with still the amount of ice and snow. |
