Nice hike up on Mud Brook Trail. Snow starts at +/- 2200 ft where conifers
provide year round shade. Rock scrambles were free of snow.
I put on my gaiters at summit to go down Mud Brook to junction with Caribou
trail also used micro spikes to junction. Could have done without spikes
but made more comfortable through the snow and ice.Lots of water coming over the several waterfalls on the way down. |
