| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
"Penobscot Indian Territory" road was signed "North Rd" easy access to trail head however those planked logging bridges make me nervous. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings were bridged, the rest of the trail was an elongated mud puddle of various depths. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I didn't have high expectations and was please to have something to follow. Lower section of ATV / 4x4 jeep trail to the pond contained excessive mud. Upper half was less eroded however full ow blowdowns and overgrowth. |

| Bugs: |
Temps in the mid 50's upon arrival with mosquitoes the size of birds. After 10 minutes they seemed to dissipate. |

| Comments: |
The fire tower has collapsed however the metal stand remains. 90 minute ascent and 60 minute descent. There is one steep cliff area that is quite precarious with wet rocks - use caution. |
