Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: "Penobscot Indian Territory" road was signed "North Rd" easy access to trail head however those planked logging bridges make me nervous.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings were bridged, the rest of the trail was an elongated mud puddle of various depths. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: I didn't have high expectations and was please to have something to follow. Lower section of ATV / 4x4 jeep trail to the pond contained excessive mud. Upper half was less eroded however full ow blowdowns and overgrowth.

Bugs
Bugs: Temps in the mid 50's upon arrival with mosquitoes the size of birds. After 10 minutes they seemed to dissipate.

Comments
Comments: The fire tower has collapsed however the metal stand remains. 90 minute ascent and 60 minute descent. There is one steep cliff area that is quite precarious with wet rocks - use caution.
