Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The first mile from East B. Hill Rd. to Dunn Falls is in great shape. The second mile had some minor branches down which we were able to clear by hand. However, after those first two miles, until about a mile from the summit, the trail has been destroyed in many places with blowdowns of trees and tree tops. The area just prior to the Frye Brook leanto is in the worst shape. Unfortunatly it is going to take a lot of people with chainsaws to get this trail reopened. I've hiked this trail dozens of times and have never seen this type of blowdowns here or anywhere. Very sad to see.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Typically a dog friendly trail but would be a little difficult for many dogs now due to the blowdowns.
Bugs
Bugs: Plenty of black flies with a sprinkling of mosquitoes.

Comments
Comments: AT from East B Hill Rd.

If there is an effort to repair the blowdowns I'd be happy to help for a day.
