Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked at first parking area near sign. Road continues to a second parking area near pond, but it's rough with big puddles or ruts. Cars with good clearance can make it to the second parking area with no problem (I saw to there).

Water Crossing Notes: Water levels fairly low.

Bugs
Bugs: Deer flies swarmed around car at parking area. They and mosquitoes are plentiful there and at lower elevations on trail. Some bugs at Avery summit as well.

Comments: Excellent views in all directions from summits, although haze prevented long-distance views.
