Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Caribou Valley Road. if you go in cvr, about 4 miles, you will come to a grated steel bridge. that one is fine. when you come to the next bridge, we suggest not going over it. you can park to the side just before the bridge. pick up with ground clearence is best choice. a.t., is just a quater mile up the road.

Comments
Comments: sugarloaf and spaulding, july 30th. via caribou valley road. no water on this trail so bring enough for the day. trail starts out steep for about 600 verticle feet. no blowdowns, no mud, just rocks and roots. trail is clear. seen a few birds, but no other wild life. round trip 10 miles. talked with 4 different groups of north bounders. congrats to all of them. great day on the peaks with a mild west wind on top. visibility aprox 50 miles. d&d
