Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The new trail cuts up to the crest of the ridge just west of the slide via switchbacks through the forest. Two cairns above tree line I lost it (not certain if it is completed) and moved across the boulders into the slide, taking the old route from there.

Comments
Comments: Through the forest the trail is nicely packed out. Above treeline, bare boulders, ice and drifting snow alternate. The tableland is ice or wind-consolidated snow, virtually without footprints (including mine which disappeared instantly).
