Comments
Comments: Based on the last trip report, we expected much worse conditions . Only a dusting of snow for the first mile covering the many rocks.
This section was slow & tedious during our descent since there was plenty of ice to deal with. Wore spikes the entire day. After the first mile, things really improved with the
2-3 inches of new snow. Trail was hard packed due to the cold (19-22 degrees) temps. One large ice flow towards the summit.

It's been almost 15 years since I've visited this fine peak after doing a 3 day back pack over the Mahoosucs. Perhaps it wasn't be best weather day with limited views but we managed to
have a great time enjoying the beautiful woods.

Another great adventure with my main squeeze.
