Several stream crossings beyond Long Mountain; none were a problem. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Several blowdowns east of E. Baldpate. The trail is sometimes hard to find in the area between E. Baldpate and Puzzle Mtn., mostly due to infrequent blue blazes, light trail use and old logging roads. |

| Bugs: |
None, except an enormous beehive next to the trail coming down the south side of Long Mountain. |

Somebody left a pair of underwear on a stump next to the stream at the Knoll tentsite. |
