Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I took Lincoln Pond Road to Deer Mountain road. The spot where I parked is just after a bend, where the mountain is roughly to the magnetic east. The spot is near the adamstown/ parkertown line. The roads were very easy to drive in a passenger car. I drove the north end of Deer mountain road too, to get to my second hike.

Comments: The 3450 foot Deer in Parkertown, ME

I started up in regrowth, following old skid roads where possible. The middle of the route consisted of some nice glades. Higher up, things got tighter, but not bad. I found the PVC canister to be destroyed and the register to be on the ground, remarkably okay. I was pleased to save the register as it went back 30 years.
