Comments
Comments: went clockwise on loop. trail starts off as a manicured foot bed for quarter mile or so then ascends steeply to the ridge on varying steps, loose rocks and dry sticky ledge. pretty abrupt ascent for sure. several outlooks along the way and some huge erratics. fire tower at summit. fine views especially to the south and west. descent on west ridge was amazing on a very well constructed foot bed at times skirting some pretty big drops. amazing and a joy to walk on. valley trail also well done though there is a confusing spot lacking signs where a couple of private driveways are crossed. blustery on summit..lots of people in down. nice loop and a great day to be out
