Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Spring Snow, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: No major crossings. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Triad Trail from the carriage road to the big open ledge looked lightly traveled and sparsely blazed, and had a lot of debris. Was tricky to follow at times.

Comments
Comments: The trails on this hike were a spotty mix of dry/wet ground, breakable crust ice, and packed frozen granular snow. Some wet ledge near the summit of the Triad. Light traction would work for the snowy/icy sections, but it was a game of take them off, put them on, so on, so forth.
