| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Triad Trail from the carriage road to the big open ledge looked lightly traveled and sparsely blazed, and had a lot of debris. Was tricky to follow at times. |

| Comments: |
The trails on this hike were a spotty mix of dry/wet ground, breakable crust ice, and packed frozen granular snow. Some wet ledge near the summit of the Triad. Light traction would work for the snowy/icy sections, but it was a game of take them off, put them on, so on, so forth. |
