Comments
Comments: The trail started out mainly bare with a monorail. It quickly became well snow-covered. The snow was fairly supportive and made for good snowshoeing. Occasionally I would face surprise drops where the snow gave out. I took the trail to the point where it side-hills on the west side of the ridge. I walked this for a fair distance and then began to bushwhack uphill. The snow in the woods was supportive. The woods were mainly open with occasional tight spots. I hit the ridge well north of the highpoint and followed it up to the recognized highpoint. I took my tracks out.
