Comments
Comments: We did the loop from AT/16-27 and after the first 3-4 miles the trail was mostly covered in knee to hip deep snow. Crossing without snowshoes and snow baskets on our trekking poles (and also with packs on our backs) was extremely difficult! Postholing every few steps.
