Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We drove North Road from RT. 26 at the north end of Grafton Notch. North Road is open and passable, however, the Berlin side of Success Pond Road is closed due to road damage. We took north road to four corners rd., which is unsigned, but leaves north west near where north road becomes success pond road. We drove this to a fourway junction, where we went left (south). We drove this to its drivable end at around 2000 feet on the north slope of Red Ridge.

Comments
Comments: We continued to walk up the road to its obvious end, a few hundred vertical from the parking. We then bushwhacked, mostly in low regrowth and open woods to the north bump. This highpoint is recognized, however, it is not the highpoint of Red Ridge. We continued in open woods to the south bump which is the highpoint. To return, we took a similar route down.

Unrelated to our Red Ridge Hike: Congratulations to NordicGal who finished the NH500 highest on Success Hill earlier today!
