|Date of Hike:
||Sunday, June 4, 2017|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||Many, but no issues other than slippery rock. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||The maintained trails are in great shape, except for some dislodging wooden steps on the Wright Trail.
The North Branch of the Wright Trail is abandoned: it has many blowdowns, some hard to pass; bog bridges and steps are rotting and breaking; lots of dead fall; some faint old blazes; route is still easy to follow; upper junction is intentionally obscured. |
|Lost and Found:
||A major motivator for this hike was to walked the abandoned North Branch, which I did not do the first time I did the Wright Trail. Some significant mud, however the trail is mainly dry. This was a great hike with great views. |
