| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked on the side of rt. 16, right at the start of the trail. It is not marked, but is about a mile east of the dam and the footbed leaves right from the roadside. (The tower man's trail is abandoned but started at the green gate, just east of the dam). |

Tower man's is abandoned; the top has lots of blowdown and a tight footbed. The middle section seems to be destroyed by logging. |

| Comments: |
This was my second attempt to follow the abandoned tower man's trail. The first time, I could not find where it transitioned from roads to path at the bottom, so I tried from the top. The upper junction is still marked with a sign from the main trail. I descended about a mile on a tight corridor with blowdowns. As soon as I hit logged sections, I could not find the trail. I bushwhacked in regrowth that was unfortunate to walk in. After approximating the route through the sections where the trail seems to be absent, I hit the road portion of the route and walked that section back to 16. |
