| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Big turnaround lot at the end of FR 18. Do not go into the campground and do not park at the side designated for putting in boats. This place is in the middle of nowhere, but drive slowly (may have to pull over to let others by) and get there, it's worth it (we camped at Crocker Pond the night before and combined this with a trip up Albany Mtn). |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
There is a bridge over the first one. Several dry beds, don't look like they'd be much of an issue even when flowing. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Good! White Mountain Guide (30th edition) mentions that the WMNF has upgraded the first .2 miles for universal accessibility. That section was well done, and had a bridge over a small brook. It will be interesting to see what follows. The trail starts near the Crocker Pond Campground, following the side of the pond (nice views). Ends at Round Pond, a beautiful little pond. It would be great if they are able to make it completely universally accessible, it's a great little area. Saw many toads today.
If you are going there to fish, please note signs about NO live bait. They have made these trout ponds and do not want anything else introduced. Ice fishing is forbidden at Round Pond as well, but since the roads are closed in the winter I don't think anyone was planning on going there. |

A beautiful and easy walk. Good time of year for it, hardly any bugs. Enjoyed sitting by Round Pond. Good places for those who would like a little seclusion. |
