After asking permission of one of the homeowners on Stratton Brook Pond Rd we parked about 1/10 of a mile off Route 27. The AT parking lot on 27 was plowed. |

Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts |
|

Snowshoes |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues, all crossable |
|

Trail is very good condition, one blow down, easy to step around. The summit sign on South Horn is on the ground so with a little more snow it won't viable. |

| Comments: |
The car thermometer read -3 F as Ron P and I started out on the initial road walk. Having no recent info about trail conditions we were delighted to find that someone (thank you so much) had skied the whole route to the Horns Pond Lean To. We bare booted until the junction of the Horns Pond Trail and then put on our snowshoes. The day was perfect! We were afforded stunning views from the summits just before the ski clouded over and it started to lightly snow. Thank you |
