Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Lost my Ice axe at the summit. Put it down to take a picture of Dixie with the elephant nose.

Comments
Comments: Completed Elephant. With the recent thaw and freeze, the snow was pretty stable except of some spruce traps. During my path up I started aiming directly at the summit a little too early. This lead to some really tough spruce walls and spruce traps that neither Dixie or I liked very much (nor my pack which ripped at some point). Summit canister was frozen so I was unable to open it. Took some pics with Dixie wearing the elephant nose and came back a little further down the ridge between the elephants. You can spend a lot more time in the fir waves to get back down to the overgrown trail. It was a much easier hike down than up.
