There is no perfect equipment option. You will want light traction for the upper sections, but snowshoes would be ideal down low if you are traveling in the afternoon and sun has hit the sun all day. Stay in the monorail or you will posthole. Bare booting is doable but not ideal. Nice view on top. Well worth the short time and moderate effort. |
