Brought snowshoes and crampons but needed neither. Bare booted it - the trail was well frozen all the way to West Baldpate. Had planned to head to East, but it was really windy and cold, and I just didn't want to layer up for the exposed hike up (I'm kinda ready for winter to end). Headed back down and over to Table Rock before exiting. Didn't get to East, but had a nice hike and met some nice folks. A good day. |
