Comments
Comments: Nice day on Bald and Speckled Mountains, saw nobody today. Big snowdrift at S end of Little Concord Pond, 5-10' deep. Pond still mostly iced over. Bald Mountain almost totally free of snow/ice patches. Frequent snow and ice patches on the way to Speckled Mountain - more of an annoyance than danger, so no traction needed as long as you are careful (This should be a moot point after the warm days and rain this week). This is certainly an underrated area, I highly recommend this hike!
