Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Noted a number of greyed out blazes soon after crossing the Carrabasset heading up Sugarloaf, which caused a little confusion thinking we may have made a wrong turn on an old, abandoned section of trail. It sorted itself out once we hit the steep, ledgy section above the CVR.

Comments
Comments: Microspike used for the CVR to the A.T. crossing. The trail up Sugarloaf didn't appear to have been broken recently; snowshoes went on and stayed on the remainder of the day. There was maybe 6" of snow down low, which increased significantly once we hit the ridge to a couple of feet. All was very firm and made for good going. A little drifting in places between Sugarloaf and Spaulding. Beautiful sunset from Spaulding. Took the Tote Road ski trail to the base.
