Stratton Brook Pond Rd is in great shape - you can drive right to the parking area for the Firewarden's Trail, even in lower clearance vehicles. There's parking for probably 15- 20 vehicles. |

No problems, although as a previous entry mentioned, one single log bridge is a little higher than the norm. |

No problems, everything is cleared and the trail was easily followed. |

| Comments: |
Only 42 degrees when I started, but was soon an absolutely beautiful day. The trails in the Bigelows are just fantastic, not much better way to spend a day. Spoke to the caretaker, who mentioned that the pond is overstocked and they are encouraging fishing, if anyone is interested. The trout were jumping all over the pond today |
