Comments
Comments: I followed the logging road to a height of land down below the summit. Woods started out as fern walk, but then it got thick as I approached the summit ridge. The summit ridge was open with ferns and only minor blowdowns. I descended via a herd path that closely paralled my GPS track up, but avoided the thick stuff altogether. It did have to traverse a marshy area to get back to the logging road. I hind sight I would try to find the logging road shown on the USGS map that provides a more direct route to the summit.
