Comments
Comments: Clear summits today with 360 degree views from the Goose Eye and Mt. Carlo summits. Because the trails were closed for a few days, we saw a bubble of 15 or more northbound AT hikers. Never did see the NH/Maine yellow blazed state line. Goose Eye tr is generally easy-moderate grades with a steeper pitch to the summit. Descending Goose Eye on the Mahoosuc Tr there is another very steep pitch with a ladder and some very well placed rebar steps.

Met a local thru hiker gal from Sanbornton at the Carlo Col shelter. I took a photo to share with her Sant Bani friends. A great hike with Carl's Wed. group.
