Comments
Comments: A nice clear day with low temps and some wind up high on the open ledges. Heading up Caribou trail is generally dry with some mud that is easily avoidable with exception of one large patch right before trail junction with Mud Brook - have to go off trail or just plow through; Mud Brook heading up to summit - muddy spots that can be avoided and some residual melting ice in spts that isn't a problem. Mud Brook heading down - a bit of residual ice in spots in trees between the series of view ledges and some mud mostly avoidable except a patch below the main open ledges below the summit. Below the last of the view ledges lots of stretches with mud mostly easily navigated or avoided but a few spots where you just have to charge through and hope for the best.

Sunny skies all day with great views all around though the breeze up top made it a little chilly. Saw only 1 other hiker all day.
