Parked at Grafton Notch and Hiked up Table Rock trail. Rejoined the AT and continued on to Baldpate West and East. Very pretty hike. Trails in good condition. Minor mud spots in the saddle between the peaks. Very impressed with the work that must have gone into creating the stone stairs up the Table Rock trail and on the ascent to West Baldpate. Very cool landscape between East and West Baldpate.
Bird highlights included a family of Gray Jays on the West Peak, several Bicknell's Thrushes between the peaks, and two families of Ruffed Grouse with young. Full species list below.
