Comments
Comments: Snow Mountain Rd seems to have undergone some work in preparation of new logging activity in that area. There are no longer any signs marking the trail (overgrown logging rd.) from Snow Mtn Rd. We built a cairn on a sand pile in front of the opening for the road, it is 0.2 miles from the intersection of Wiggle Brook Rd on the left. Keep drainage just to your right while following the logging road, go to the right (over the drainage) around a large blowdown at about 0.5 miles ignoring multiple multi-colored flagging at that spot. Take the second (after a very large puddle in the road) obvious logging road heading uphill and to the left at about 1 mile, or look for the herd path we followed down a bit further up the trail where it narrows and enters small spruce, this path may be tough to find however.

Trailhead directions: 0.0 miles at intersection of Morton Cuttoff and Rte 16 located on the right about 0.5 miles from Cupsuptic Campground heading towards NH from Oquosoc on Rte 16 - do not reset speedometer again. At 3.2 mi. take the harder right - do not bear left immediately afterwards. At 10.2 mi. turn left onto Wiggle Brook Rd. Stay right at 11.4 and at 13.0 miles to remain on Wiggle Brook Rd. Turn left at 13.6 Miles, again to stay on Wiggle Brook. Snow Mountain Rd. is on the left at 17.2 miles - there is a 22 mile marker nearby on a tree.
Congrats to Pat and Nancy who finished their NEHH.
