Comments
Comments: Trail had snow the entire hike with drifts up to a foot deep near the summit. Painted blazes on the rocks were all covered so it helped being familiar with the trail and looking for cairns. Only saw a couple very small patches of ice under the snow. I bare booted all day with only one small slip. Sunday's rain and dampness could have made the trail quite slick though. Temperature on the summit was 19 degrees with a windchill of 0. 18 mph average wind with gusts up to 23 mph.
