Comments
Comments: Hike to Carrigain was pleasant, trail well packed. Camped on ridge just below summit. Bushwhacked from Carrigain summit to Vose Spur, very challenging. Thick undergrowth, blowdowns, 3-4 feet of loose snow. Stay on ridge. Almost seven hours to hike about 1.5 miles to Vose Spur summit. Would not recommend this route. From the Vose Spur summit, bushwhacked down ridge to Carrigain Notch trail.
