About 6 inches of fluffy new fallen snow down low, increasing to about 10-12 inches at the summit. Amazingly for the holiday week only one couple had attempted the trail before us and broke trail for about 2/3 the way (big thanks!). we broke trailhead rest of the way so the trail is fully broken now. Overcast at summit but the sun broke through and the wind wasn't bad. As usual the twin wonder boys practically ran up well ahead of the fairly odd/old parents. Great way to work off those holiday cookies. |
