Comments
Comments: Trail had just received about 10 inches of snow 1 day earlier. A few snow shoe hikers already broke trail. Trail walkable with microspikes, but snow shoes were better to avoid post holing. Plenty of trail room for snow shoes but a few rocks along way in lower section after start of trail head that required some climb over foot placement. Started in full winter gear at 10:00 am and finished after 30 minute break at top by 2:30 pm. Fire tower open at top. Lots of ice on north/ east side windows. Great place to grab a snack before heading down. Lots of condensation inside on windows from people visiting.
