Trail to Waumbek in good shape, blowdowns on the KRT, easy to go around if we were even on the trail??? |

Seven of us hiked to Waumbek and 3 continued to S. Weeks. Trail well packed to Waumbek. Didn't look like anyone had been on the KRT this winter. Had to pack trail all the way to S.Weeks (2'3' of snow), there was some 4 legged postholing on the KRT(someone should talk to him/her about postholing. We think we were on the KRT trail for 90% of the way over to S.Weeks. So if you need S.Weeks go now before the next storm. |
