Not one blow down but a couple of leaners. Sections new the summit of Starr King were hard to follow |

If you are headed way up North, forget what you see out the window. There were 4 fresh inches of sticky powder at the bottom. Probably 8 when the trail transitions to soft wood and at least 12 after 3000 Ft. The last hundred yards toward Starr King had huge drifts. Some you could walk on top of and some you had to go thru. Trail was hard to follow at this point. The sun was starting to come out and the winds really picked up. Took a few pics and headed back down for pizza. |
